
My Story
I started my journey with exercise being extremely inactive and overweight, often finishing last in cross-country, athletics and swimming at school. A wake-up call from my doctor about the health risks of inactivity as well as social pressures motivated me to take control of my fitness. Initially introduced to cardio training, I gradually began walking and running, later incorporating group classes and resistance training into my routine.
This shift led me to develop a love for resistance training and group fitness, transforming my approach from focusing on appearance to valuing the mental and physical benefits of exercise. This passion, combined with my love for helping others, inspired me to become a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Group Fitness Instructor.
As my journey continued, my approach to training evolved significantly, and my understanding of movement and the body deepened. My personal goals are to build a strong, resilient body capable of withstanding life's heavy demands now, and as I move through each age and stage.
For me, it’s about cultivating strength, endurance, and flexibility that can support my everyday life. I’m constantly proving to myself that I can do things my younger self never thought possible. I am passionate about maintaining a body that can perform at its best, no matter the challenge—there have been a few!
My journey is a reminder that exercise is not only about achieving goals or hitting specific targets; it's about enjoying the process and using movement to enhance both physical and mental well-being. Through my work, I aim to help others experience the transformative power of movement, just as it has transformed my own life.
